NATHAN MCKAY

Nathan “Nate” McKay is a Principal and Senior Vice President for The Sigmund Companies. In his role as Senior Vice President, Nate is responsible for all aspects of new investment execution across the United States with a primary focus on convenience-oriented shopping center acquisitions. In addition, he oversees all capital markets activities and cultivates new strategic relationships with investors and joint-venture partners.​

Prior to joining The Sigmund Companies, he worked as the Acquisitions Officer at Broad Reach Retail Partners. There he was responsible for sourcing acquisition opportunities of grocery-anchored shopping centers on behalf of a private equity fund. Prior to Broad Reach Retail Partners, he was the Director of Market Research for First Washington Realty, a pension fund adviser that owns core grocery-anchored real estate throughout the United States. Nate has experience in valuation, deal sourcing, negotiation and market analysis. Nate has been involved in the acquisition of over $450M of shopping centers.​

Nate holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from American University and a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.​
