Located on the D.C. side of Takoma Park, The Sigmund Companies helped Rhizome locate their perfect new home at 6950 Maple Street N.W. Joint Venture Acquires Shopping Center Portfolio in Woodbridge, Virginia for $52.8M
WOODBRIDGE, VA. — A joint venture between Ideal Realty Group, Rock Creek Property Group and The Sigmund Cos. has purchased a portfolio of four regional shopping centers in Woodbridge’s Dale City neighborhood. An affiliate of Interstate Management Inc. sold the properties, which total 470,000 square feet, for $52.8 million.
Donsak Owner to Open Sorn Thai Restaurant in McLean
The team behind Washington, D.C.’s Thai eatery Donsak will open a new Thai concept in McLean, Va., early next year.
Owner Supisa “Boom” Teawbut inked a 3,000-square-foot space at Chesterbrook Shopping Center to house Sorn Thai, a restaurant that will showcase the flavors of southern Thailand. The restaurant is named for Teawbut’s grandmother Sorn, whose recipes serve as the inspiration for the menu.
